Find out my top 3 customer story questions for eliciting the information you need to write a great adoption story.

Have you ever written a customer story that focuses on adoption?
An adoption story is unique because it:
1. Focuses on how the customer learns the new solution, and…
2. How the customer adopts the technology as fully as possible in all relevant departments, job titles and use cases.
It’s particularly important when it comes to renewals, upsells and cross-sells.
If you want to write an adoption story but you’re not sure where to start, try using these 3 questions in your customer interview:
- How did you work with [company name] to ensure adoption?
- What challenges did you face when trying to get the intended users to adopt [our solution] and how did you solve them?
- What advice would you give other companies when it comes to helping their intended users adopt this technology?
I'm fairly confident that if you ask these 3 questions, you'll elicit the information you need to write a great adoption story.
